Baby Delaney

This sweet baby girl is the second for this family. I also was able to photograph their first little girl, who is now almost 2! They are such a sweet family, full of love.  Thank you for allowing me to watch your girls grow and capture these special moments!

Daddy and his girls
Believe it or not ... she was born in this very spot!

Beautiful red hair!

Roxanna

I had the privilege to have a photography "play date" with a fellow photographer. We went around downtown Sacramento and had our fantastic model Roxy! She really knows how to put the "rock" in the Rockabilly look! She is so beautiful! I feel honored to be able to photograph her. Thank you Amy from Images from Amy, for allowing me to shoot along side you. You are amazing!

This gal has the most beautiful eyes! So easy to photograph!

My favorite photo! Just a gal, sitting by a brick wall...you know, just thinking!

Inspirations

I get so much inspiration from the world around me! The other day I decided to take a drive and see what I could find through my lens. What kind of inspirations surrounded me. Needless to say, there was plenty! I logged 50 miles on my car that day, just driving around. It was beautiful! Though I am sure that folks driving around me thought I was crazy as I pulled off the side of the road to take a picture of, what appeared to them as, nothing. If only everyone could see the potential in an open field or a stone wall!

This tree is amazing to me! Something about it ... just draws me in!
*Think blank notebook, writing on a summer day, soft breeze and music playing*
(Ok maybe I watch too many movies! lol)

I loved these pots! Its a place called The Tin Thimble ... how cute is that name!?

Open Spaces ... so beautiful!
I like the stucco on this church ... simple textures!

Entry #1

Well, I am jumping on the blog bandwagon! I have a personal blog, to keep track of all lives little milestones, so why not have a blog to keep track of Alexa Photography's accomplishments! Truth be told, this will likely be a blog to showcase my work and sometimes just have me ramble on about something photography related! I hope to be able to update this blog with lots of fun, fresh and exciting new images.
This is God's business and He will let it soar!
Enjoy!
